Good morning. Yesterday was not a good day. One of the pups suddenly got sick and we rushed her to the animal hospital. It's Parvo. How in the hell did she get parvo in our house? I've been rocking my brain and these are the only thoughts I could think of. 3 weeks ago there was a dog we were watching because it was loosen the neighborhood until the family was able to get it that evening. Perhaps that dog was a parvo carrier even though it was 12 years old and fully vaccinated. The other thought is even though Angel tested negative three times for parvo that somehow parvo was still alive 8 months later. Pretty unlikely but a slim possibility. The last thing could be one of us could have brought it in on our shoes walking. I do my four and a half mile walks in the morning and Savannah works at the grocery store so who knows how she got it we just don't know. The other dog so far is tested negative and is doing well but we're having to quarantine him out of the house. We were up to 2:00 a.m. yesterday disinfecting the house with bleach and water the entire house changing all the bedding removing all their doggy stuff and throwing it away it was a huge task so I was not able to be online yesterday. Please pray for our sweet pup cinnamon. She was in the animal hospital all night and we have her for a few hours this morning and then we take her back to the animal hospital for the weekend. They said it's a 50/50 chance of survival for her. After Angel I was just getting over the PTSD with these puppies and I thought we were going to be okay but nope we're not. I took this picture with the pups yesterday morning they were vibrant and happy up until noon time and then all of a sudden cinnamon started throwing up out of nowhere. It's just a very weird weird thing.
I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Sending each of you hugs.
