Kevin O'Leary Calls Out Bud Light for Its Recent LGBTQ Controversy
Bud Light has become the poster boy for brand mismanagement. The narrative that has risen around Bud Light is a good lesson. It highlights the power of social media. People that didn't like the message, took it out by boycotting the product immediately.
O'Leary explains that people that did not like the message boycotted the product immediately, choosing other brands that did not make them get involved in what Mulvaney stands for, as she is a trans woman.
"Here we are talking about it in its second month," O'Leary goes on. "This is a nightmare from hell for the brand. In crisis management, what do you do? Because if you go to the other side and try and balance the gender narrative, you're going to get a whole new onslaught of people that don't like that. So when you go into gender narrative on a beer that is primarily consumed by men, maybe you should have thought a little bit about that in reading that room -- does this really fit my consumers' psyche and narrative?"
I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Sending each of you hugs.
