Does Mike Johnson Deserve One More Chance?
Mike Johnson was confirmed as Speaker of the House after one round of voting. Johnson’s cause was greatly aided by President Trump, who heartily recommended him.
We at GrrrGraphics are not big fans of Johnson because he caved quickly to outrageous Democrat spending bills. We prefer Thomas Massie, who strictly adheres to MAGA principles and insists on criminally prosecuting those behind the phony Russian collusion scandal as well as those on the J6 committee. Massie was the only one who did not vote for Johnson, and he proclaimed he would not cave into Republican pressure no matter what.
We know Trump wants stability in Congress as he enters his second term. He needs his Cabinet picks certified quickly and a jump start to implementing his policies. A contentious battle for Speaker might have interfered with Trump’s plans.
Still, Johnson needs to go if he continues to support expansive spending bills. The problem is…the House changed the rules and now it requires nine congress people to bring up another vote.
It looks like we’re stuck with Johnson for the time being.
I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
