Truth in what’s happening since I moved to FL
Compared to this time last year I paid $20 less in gas for this trip than I did last year. Extrapolating this a little, I use about 600 gallons of gas a year. If prices continue to stabilize or come down, Those 600 gallons at this price will cost me $450 less than last year. Now that $450 in savings are not taxed. To put $450 in my pocket I have to make $585 dollars. (Income tax plus social security tax). Not a bad pay raise for one item in my budget.
Update 1 - today I paid $2.65 a gallon for milk. Two years ago that gallon cost me $4.50. Yes I have the results. That one item means I can save another $104 per year.
Update 2 - My auto insurance I just renewed with another company (not available to me last December) for $582 dollars less than I paid last year.
Update 3 - Did I mention the price of eggs?
So now I have four items in my budget now costing me less, saving me more than $1200 per year. That translates to more than $1500 of income needed. That means I now have $1200 in my pocket to dispose of how I want.
Every day things are looking better. Keep it coming.
I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
