We must have ALL forgotten this…
In 1995, President Bill Clinton stood before the nation during his State of the Union and said this:
The government’s first duty is to protect American citizens…
Large numbers of illegal immigrants entering the country concerned Americans…
Jobs, taxpayer services, border security, deportations, and enforcing immigration law all needed attention…
He said we are a nation of immigrants …but also a nation of laws…
And when he said it…
Democrats stood.
Democrats applauded.
Democrats supported the message.
Fast forward to 2026…
President Trump stood in the same chamber.
At the same podium…
Speaking on many of the same themes …border security, law enforcement, protecting Americans, and enforcing immigration law.
But this time?
The reaction was completely different…
Instead of applause, there were accusations.
Instead of unity, there were interruptions.
Instead of standing, many Democrats remained seated.
That contrast is what Americans are noticing.
Because the question isn’t whether someone agrees with Clinton or Trump as individuals.
The question is:
How can the same message be praised in one era… and condemned in another?
When Clinton said America must enforce immigration laws, it was called responsible leadership…
When Trump said similar things, it was called controversial.
So what changed?
Did the principle change?
Did the facts change?
Or did politics change?
This isn’t about idolizing one president or criticizing another.
It’s about recognizing that protecting citizens, enforcing laws, and securing borders were once bipartisan ideas …spoken from a Democratic president and celebrated across the aisle…
Today, those same ideas often divide the room.
And that reality raises a bigger question for voters:
Has the policy shifted …or has the party?
We can be a nation of immigrants.
We can welcome opportunity.
We can show compassion.
But we can also be a nation of laws…
Those ideas were not in conflict in 1995…
And many Americans are now asking why they seem to be today…
Seems to me, Democrats need to realize the party they think they’re supporting is broken..
Faith. Family. Freedom

I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Sending each of you hugs.

The U.S. Department of War has released the names of the four American troops who lost their lives in Operation Epic Fury:
Capt. Cody A. Khork of Florida
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens of Nebraska
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor of Minnesota
Sgt. Declan J. Coady of Iowa
These brave men and women answered their nation’s call with courage and honor. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is often secured by those willing to stand in harm’s way for others. Today, a grateful nation pauses to remember them and to lift up the families whose hearts now carry the weight of this loss. May their service and sacrifice never be forgotten.
Heavenly Father,
We humbly lift our hearts in prayer for the brave souls who have given their lives in service to their country. Today we remember Capt.
