The issue of race in America has remained one of the most debated and emotionally charged subjects in modern political history. Some critics argue that the election of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama marked a turning point that intensified racial division rather than healing it.
Supporters of this view believe that prior to the Obama administration, the United States had been making significant progress toward improving race relations and reducing tensions between different communities. They argue that the country was moving toward greater unity, with less focus placed on racial identity in everyday politics and public discourse.
However, critics claim that during the Obama years, race became a far more central issue in national conversations. They point to growing debates over policing, identity politics, discrimination, and media narratives that increasingly framed political and social disagreements through the lens of race. According to this perspective, these developments created deeper division among Americans and fueled resentment between different groups.
Others strongly disagree with that interpretation, arguing instead that the Obama presidency simply brought long-standing racial inequalities into the spotlight and forced difficult but necessary conversations about issues that had been ignored for decades.
Regardless of where people stand politically, one thing remains clear: race continues to play a powerful role in shaping America’s political climate. The debate over whether recent decades have brought the country closer together or driven it further apart remains one of the defining conversations of modern American society, and opinions on the legacy of the Obama era continue to spark passionate disagreement across the nation.
I will have less of a presence on The Torrid Tribe Community. We have very little activity here. This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
I will be lightly posting things here to give you all content to see. This community will always be open to everyone and will resurrect to its full capacity if subscribers show they want it fully operational again with full time administration.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Sending each of you hugs.

Royal Family Officially Changes Monarchy’s Title — King Charles III Is Now “Defender of Faith” To Include Other Religions.
The British Royal Family has formally updated the monarch’s historic title from “Defender of the Faith” (a Christian-specific role) to the broader “Defender of Faith” to reflect Britain’s multi-faith society.
King Charles III has long pushed for this change, signaling a major shift away from Britain’s 500+ year Christian heritage.
