An Indiana family farm is facing a wave of one star reviews after creating a massive corn maze honoring Charlie Kirk.
Goebel Farms in Evansville unveiled its 2026 maze featuring an aerial image of Kirk, explaining that the tribute was intended to honor his commitment to free speech and public debate.
The farm quickly received backlash online, including one star reviews from some people who said they opposed the tribute. Manager Jeremy Goebel said the negative reviews began almost immediately after the maze was announced.
Google also temporarily closed the farm’s business profile after the flood of reviews, according to Goebel.
Despite the backlash, Goebel said the family has no regrets about creating the tribute.
“Absolutely, we would absolutely do it again,” Goebel told Fox News.
He said the farm did not intend to make the maze divisive, but wanted to remember Kirk and promote the idea that Americans should be able to disagree, debate and challenge one another without resorting to violence.
The farm has also received support from people around the country and internationally, according to Goebel, who said the response has not been entirely negative.

This is a sign to me that members have found other social media resources that they are spending more time in. I am happy to see less censorship on social media in general. I started The Torrid Tribe 4 years ago when we were in a state of censorship and lockdowns. It was a difficult time and this was a haven and sanctuary for so many.
